Vicki Fillet, CFP® introduces you to Health Savings Accounts (HSA), how they work, the pros & cons of high deductible medical insurance, the benefits of an HSA while working and once retired, and how an HSA can resemble an IRA for medical care.

Rick Konrad, CFA, CFP® discusses the benefits of investing HSA savings versus placing them in a low yield money market fund and investing fundamentals. 

Victoria Fillet CFP® is the co-founder of Blueprint Financial Planning, LLC a SEC registered investment advisor. At Blueprint, we bring financial security and financial confidence together. She began her investment career with The First Boston Corporation, and later joined Furman Selz, becoming a Managing Director.  Vicki is Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association of New York and active on several committees. She is an adjunct professor at NYU-SPS teaching Financial Planning. 


Rick Konrad CFA, CFP® founded Value Architects Asset Management in 2002 and previously was the director of research for a Wall Street investment banking firm. He received his CFA charter in 1988, his CFP® designation in 2004, and has completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program in Behavioral Investing. He has a long standing interest in education and in corporate governance. In addition, he has served on several boards of publicly traded companies.
